High Alloy Ultra-high Strength Steel
Grade:
18Ni(250,300,350)、TM210AStandards and Technical Conditions:
GJB 9663-2019

Product Characteristics
-
After solid-solution treatment, 18Ni steel forms ultra-low carbon martensite. After aging treatment, due to the precipitation of various types of intermetallic compounds, aging hardening occurs, and the hardness can rise to above 50 HRC. The outstanding characteristics of 18Ni steel are that, under ultra-high strength and high hardness conditions, it still has good toughness and high fracture toughness. At the same time, this type of steel has no cold-work hardening, minimal deformation during aging heat treatment, good weldability, and the surface can also undergo nitriding treatment.
-
Industrial Application
-
The alloy's main products include bars, cylinders and forgings. The alloy has been used to manufacture components mainly for bearings, bolts, kick springs, rocket engines and missile casings, aircraft structural components, centrifuge outer cylinders, couplings, weighing sensors, drive shafts, transmission shafts, aircraft wing components, shock-absorbing struts, supports and other important bearing components. Through the long-term production and use, it shows good performance. The alloy in supplied condition exhibits good strength and toughness properties.
