Product Characteristics

60Si2CrVA has high tensile strength and yield strength, relatively high hardenability, and good heat treatment process performance, but has temper brittleness. Due to the high strength, internal stress relief treatment shall be performed promptly after coiling the springs.

Industrial Application

60Si2CrVA is mainly used for large springs working below 250℃ and bearing high loads, such as: gas turbine gland sealing springs, regulating springs, condenser support springs, high-pressure water pump disk springs, and buffer reset springs of mining crushers. It is also used for extremely important springs, such as cartridge-extractor springs of conventional weapons.
