Product Characteristics
-
4Cr3Mo2NiVNb steel is a newly developed hot-work tool steel specially designed to meet working temperatures around 700℃. 4Cr3Mo2NiVNb steel is based on 4Cr3Mo3V steel. Through lowering the contents of Mo and V, adding 1% Ni and 0.15% Nb by mass fraction, it improves room temperature and high temperature toughness and thermal stability, capable of maintaining 40 HRC hardness at 700℃. Under equal hardness conditions, the fracture toughness of 4Cr3Mo2NiVNb steel is 50% higher than that of 3Cr2W8V steel. At 700℃, its tensile strength is 70% higher, and its cold-/thermal-fatigue resistance and hot wear resistance are increased by 1 time and 50%, respectively.
-
Industrial Application
-
It is applied in steel pharmaceutical tube hot-extrusion punches, copper alloy tube extrusion mold shoes and piercing plugs, hot-extrusion bearing ring punches and dies, valve extrusion mold shoes, etc.
-
Company Product Applications
-
It is mainly applied to hot-extrusion punches and hot-extrusion molds for ferrous and non-ferrous metals
